Back in the Saddle

It has been a long time between postings. A lot has happened in the past 6 weeks or so. We have had visitors from Canada, there have been 2 weddings in Arizona and we inherited a new pet among other things. Suzie and I decided to try the Weight Watchers regimen for a while. I will post updates periodically. So far it has been painless; Suzie has lost a few pounds and I have lost inches it seems. I haven't weighed myself so I have no idea of progress in that regard. I have been remiss in my attendance at the Gym and should start back in earnest this week end.

Andrea & Jason have been the beneficiaries of a great opportunity. A friend of Andrea's family has a house that is available for a lease/purchase option. It is in a great neighborhood in North London near Lucas Secondary School. It sounds perfect - 3 bedrooms, a large yard etc. Jason has started a new job and is pretty excited about the change.

Rob & Kim are carrying on - no problems and making progress on the road of life. Jacob continues to amaze as he grows up very fast.

Suzie & Patti continue to thrive. Patti has her learners permit and has been out driving around. Her cheer squad placed 2nd at the California statewide competition at Magic Mountain. Suzie received a letter informing her that she made the Dean's list at CSUSM for the 1st semester. Her Dance Team at CSUSM is coming together and she really seems to enjoy the university experience.

As for the two of us - we are enjoying each other as we mature into our roles as seasoned citizens. We love our "back country drives", visits to the casinos, and the weather here in Southern California.

I have read some interesting items in the news periodicals and will have comments and links to post soon.
